Elections of Importance to the Village of Tequesta and its Citizens
The Tequesta Civic Association is a 501(c)(3) non-partisan organization. We are of the opinion that citizens want to make informed decisions in all elections affecting those residing in Tequesta. It is often difficult to secure pertinent candidate information and to learn what the key issues are in any given election. We intend to produce events so voters can meet the candidates and hear them discuss their positions on a multitude of issues. We may also provide updates in regard to election results. The Tequesta Civic Association does not endorse candidates.
TCA will be conducting a Candidates Forum at a point in time to be determined falling between January 1, 2025 and the date of the Tequesta Municipal election. All TCA members will be notified well in advance of the chosen date in order to plan for their attendance at the candidates forum.

Please note that the Candidate Qualifying period for the Tequesta Municipal Election is from Noon on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, until Noon on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. However, a candidate may file earlier if all filing requirements are met. A potential candidate must be a Tequesta resident for at least one continuous year prior to qualifying for the office of the Village Council. Anyone seeking to run for the office of Village Council is strongly urged to schedule an appointment with the Village Clerk to review important matters related to running for elected office in Tequesta and related Florida statutory
